    Hi Experts,

    My company is in the process of starting to use DOORS for requirements management. We want to be able to link our requirements to the source code level, to specific functions. Does DOORS have this capability? 

    If the answer is no, is there an add-on we could use?

    Hi Juan,

    There are a few options we have used for that purpose.

    - Rational Rhapsody Gateway can trace DOORS requirements to source code function level

    - LDRA TBmanager also achieves the above and may work with DNG, too.

    - If you are using Rhapsody to generate code from design elements linked to DOORS requirements, Rhapsody can add requirements references in comments for the generated code

    If using DNG, you may trace requirements down to source code file level with RTC. Commit operations provide greater granularity.
