Below is error scenario I came across and need any inputs to circumvent it:-

• Created a Data set and added as source in First Data Module
• Second Data Module sourcing  First data module and bringing Dataset as linked Data set. Linked dataset gives error

DSS-GEN-0002 Unable to find column 'Query1_0_1.FirstCoulmn' in data set 'Test Data Module'.

• When link is broken for Data set, it works fine in Second Data Module (Test Data module)

Does it mean we can't link Datasets from one module to other?

In further testing, if I create a new data module using  source Module containing Datasets, linked data set works fine in new module.
