Hello, I’d like to know if any other IMWUC members have any tools to assist with licensing control/compliance for Maximo.

We have had some interesting discussions around this topic in the past which is why we have chosen it as a subject for our 'table topics' at the next Maximo UK and Ireland in June. Not sure if you're in the UK but it might be worth registering and joining us. Failing that it might be something you could suggest for your local user group meeting.

You need to understand that the license rules change from the Maximo Version. 

In maximo 76 you have a license monitoring tool. It's configurable. You can use it to track your licenses.

we have build a report that give your the modules that each user has access. It can give you the license type if you have Limited use Licenses and Full use Licenses. If you have Express, you will need some tweaking.

What are the license type that you have ? do you have Add on ?

Hi Mohamed,

I am familiar with the license monitoring tool, however this doesn’t give an in depth license count. We also have custom applications.

We are running Maximo 7.6.0.6 with add -ons: HSE, Spatial, Linear, Scheduler, Anywhere

We have Express, Limited & Authorised licenses, as well as spatial, linear, anywhere and scheduler add on licenses.

If you could send me your report as an example I would be really interested to see it.
