I'm Christina Howell, community manager for Data Science, Business Analytics, Watson Apps and DataOps. I'm a 15-year IBMer having worked on many Think conferences in the past and this year I'm most looking forward to:

#1870: Innovations across hybrid cloud and AI
In this hybrid/multicloud world where technology emerges at a rapid pace, how do we continuously design and deliver product experiences that meet users' specific needs? How do we infuse products with AI to make them smarter and more efficient? Join this dynamic, cross-industry customer panel and check out some of the latest innovations and experiences these leading companies have been designing just for you.

You'll hear first-hand from these User Experience Partners about how they helped shape some of IBM's latest releases. We'll also be showcasing some of these very innovations - including in products such as IBM Cloud Satellite, IBM Cloud Pak for Data, IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog, and IBM Planning Analytics.

Our Chief Design Officer, Arin Bhowmick, will be answering questions in the chat during the live sessions, so you won't want to miss joining the discussion.

Looking forward to hearing from community members here in the discussion! Cheers.

I'm Doug Moran, community manager for our Cloud Pak for Data and Hybrid Data Management communities. I also help coordinate the blogging activity on the IBM Community, and work with our design lead Ian Oeschger on some of the information architecture aspects as well. I've been with IBM for 5 years. Given the two communities I'm the leader for and my own personal interests, the sessions I'm most interested in are:

    #2311: Humane Technology-Join the Movement
Imagine a world built on humane technology that operates for the common good. Tristan Harris, the primary subject of the Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma, and president and co-founder of the Center for Humane Technology, unpacks how today's major technology platforms have increasingly become the social fabric by which we live and think, wielding dangerous power over our ability to make sense of the world. Millions of people around the world are demanding change. Join the movement.

    #2313: Deconstructing Racism
As we discuss racial reckoning, Baratunde Thurston believes we should think about stories - the ones we tell ourselves about "us" and the ones we tell of "them." He sees an opportunity to tell a powerful story of "we" instead. This talk is a State of the Union from Baratunde's perspective with prescriptions for a better future, inviting the audience to examine where we have been and what we have to look forward to if we all keep fighting for liberty and justice for all of us.

#2322: Cubicle vs. Couch: Is the future of work hybrid?
Leading through transformative moments is never easy. Yet this last year has been nothing but one giant never-ending transformative moment, challenging traditional ways of working, upsetting our work-life balance, and obliging us to learn new digital skills. Join two of today's biggest global thinkers, Malcolm Gladwell and Adam Grant, as they look at recent challenges, opportunities and lessons learned, and provide critical insights to help us emerge smarter in our post pandemic world.

As the the Community blogging coordinator, I'd like to encourage all of you to blog about anything you experienced at Think here on our Community!

    Hello Community Members.

Nice to see you here! I'm Sarah Cogley and the Community Leader for our  AIOps & Management Community.
I am also very Lucky, to lead our team of exceptional community Managers. I am a 13-year IBMer  and have been
fortunate to attend many IBM Conferences & meet lots of our members in person.  This year I am looking forward
to lots of sessions from our leaders, customers & partners and I have highlighted a couple below for my personal interests.

1705 Loyalty and Personalization drive an elevated customer experience Air Canada & Lufthansa
Travelers demand a personalized experience, consistent services and loyalty programs that make them feel they're an airline's best customer. Gain insights into Air Canada's ambitious plan to transform its digital experience through a redesign of its apps and web experience while launching a new loyalty program. Learn how Lufthansa provides a differentiated, personalized experience for its brands (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines) while driving a consolidation strategy.

2314 Guardian of the planet - and the people
Twenty-one-year-old Xiuhtezcatl Martinez is a remarkable climate activist. Notably, Martinez has spoken at the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly on Climate Change and was the recipient of the Youth Change Maker of the Year Award, presented by President Obama. In this talk he will share his passion for connecting people through popular culture and the message of his indigenous roots to better serve the planet and reimagine his generation's future.

    2321 Chef on a mission
José Andrés, world-renowned Spanish-American chef and restaurateur is the founder of World Central Kitchen, a non-profit devoted to ending hunger and poverty in the wake of natural disasters. Andrés will take us on a journey from his childhood in Spain, to his success as internationally-recognized culinary innovator, to his humanitarian efforts which include distribution of millions of meals during disasters that include Puerto Rico's devastating Hurricane Maria and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Looking forward to hearing from community members here in the discussion & hopefully next year meet many of you in person.

Hi all - I'm Libby and I support more than 700 of the most awesome folks in IBM technology: the IBM Champions. And I've been around IBM events for, well, longer than I intend to admit.

So many sessions I want to see, starting with all the IBM Champion sessions.

But I'm also excited about Rob Thomas' keynote and Malcolm Gladwell's session (2232) on cubicle vs couch and the future of work. Adam Grant and Malcolm Gladwell are discussing the challenges and opportunities of work... and then what "fun" can be -- the deep fun, where you work on real, interesting problems. Can you have that fun, those deep experiences remotely? Can you do important things remotely? Has work been awful this last year or has there been joy?

Hope you'll jump on here or on the Think platform to join the conversation - now and in the weeks ahead.

Much discussion, especially after Malcolm Gladwell and Adam Grant's session around virtual vs. in-person vs. hybrid events.

Like many others, Community has certainly enjoyed in-person events over the years, and thrived in virtual over the last year. Now that things are starting to open up, what are your thoughts on virtual vs. in-person? Are you missing travel? Your office? Have you fully adjusted to your home office?
