    Hi I recently installed the community edition of IBM Data Studio and it is up and running. When I try to execute a simple query of the default Sample database it throws a message java.lang.nullpointerexception. Any help would be appreciated.

    It usually helps if you specify:
    - client platform (version, OS level)
    - server platform (version, OS level)
    - smallest recreatable scenario code snippet

    Without that - it's tricky to diagnose ...
