At IBM TechXchange 2025 I am looking forward to seeing more about AI agents. I just found on the attendee portal a presentation today Sep 30 about this called "Reclaim your time with AI agents and smarter data" so hopefully this is just the beginning! .
If IBM has an agent framework and has an AI model for all of their operating systems and most of their products then the AI agent should be able to deliver a faster way to hone in on of any issues, suggest actions to resolve anything and integrate with a service portal to record that - maybe we'll even let it auto fix things too one day soon.
I am especially interested for new hires or if we buy new products and therefore have no subject matter experts. looking after systems.
For a bonus point to IBM it would be great if the AI agents could do a health check, report all is good but if not, start looking at any issues.
