Issue with Maximo Mobile Inspection Forms

    Hello All

    I am facing a strange issue with Maximo Mobile Inspection forms

    Please find the steps I followed, and the issue faced

                   Creation an Inspection Form

                   Associate the Form to Job plan

                   Associate the Job plan to a PM and generate work order.

                   Approve the work order which will auto populate the inspection result field in work order.

                   Login to Maximo Mobile à Open the above Work order in "My Schedule" app and Click on Inspection icon

                   The expected result

    The Inspection Form questionnaire page should open

                   The actual result

     Inspection Form questionnaire doesn't open always. Sometime the screen circle around as shown in the attached video. If we open the same record later the page might open. This is not record specific. For the same record it does open sometime and doesn't open other times.

                   The same behavior is found in "My Schedule" app and Inspection app. Same behavior online and offline mode. 

                   Everything works fine with Role based application. 

    Has anybody faced similar issues? any idea what could be wrong

    Hi Ratheesh,

    A similar problem is happening, but receiving the message "Error: Form template selected is not on your device. Update your Form Lookup and try again."

    A defect has been created, and IBM is working on a solution. https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/defect/aCIKe00000006K7OAI/dt423409?language=en_US

    Hopefully, this is the same scenario you're facing.

    The issue I am facing is little different. There is no order or sequence for this issue. In some case the Inspection form will show in first click itself.

    Other cases not. The same form might open at a later time. If a form is having this issue in "My Schedule" app, the same issue is facing for same form in Inspection app.

    Hi Maycon,

    We are facing this issue with Mobile version 9.

    For some of the inspection forms while opening the form execution page, we get the below error.

    "Form template selected is not on your device. Update your Form Lookup and try again"

    Kindly let us know if there is any workaround for this issue.

    Hi Bincy,

    This issue has been fixed by IBM. But I'm not sure in which version of MAS 9 it was delivered. You can query IBM in a PMR and provide the defect number or try to find it in the list of defects delivered in the latest release.

    Hi Nivin,

    Thanks for the update.

    We have upgraded Maximo Mobile from version 8.10 to version 9 and currently we are with Mobile9 and ifix 11.

    Still we are facing this issue while opening some of the inspection forms. Please let us know if we need to verify any other configuration or build details.

    Also, would like to know if you have Mobile 9  ifix 011 installed, which xml/controller file holds this fix so that we can verify the same here.

    Sharing below the system information.

    As a workaround can you replace the current app.xml (assume you are on Maximo Mobile 9 iFix 11 OOB) with the attached file. And then do a publish and preview on mobile.

    We have replaced the app.xml with the given version, but in the app preview itself same error is repeating as earlier.

    Hi, This issue was solved by updating the MOBILEFORMS query on MXAPIINSPFORM to include the form status REVISED as well as some of the inspection workorders were using the revised form as per data.
