Hello, I have been using SPSS statistics for the past few weeks for my classes at school. I have a subscription I got through the class. When I try to open the SPSS Statistics software, or any of the data sets I have saved, I am unable to open it at all. I get stuck on a page that says "Server Login: Local Computer" and it has options for "User ID, Password, and Domain" but does not allow me to type in them, and then there are options for "OK", and "Cancel" but when I select "OK" it loads for a few seconds and then goes back to the original screen. I have tried turning my computer off/on, deleting the entire software and reinstalling with the activation code, and it still does not work and I am not sure what to do. If anyone has suggestions it would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance!

There are two causes I can think of immediately:
- Firewall issues keeping the Statistics frontend and backend processes from communicating.  See Technote 425725

- You are on macOS 14.x and have not yet updated to IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0.2.0.  See Known Issue DT243265
