  • 1.  IS starts slowly (cache sweeper)

    Posted Tue August 23, 2011 04:20 PM

    Hello

we always have problems during start the IS:

    2011-08-22 14:25:04 CEST [ISS.0025.0036I] Dispatcher started
    2011-08-22 14:25:04 CEST [ISS.0025.0005I] Port Manager started
    2011-08-22 14:25:04 CEST [ISS.0025.0013I] Cache Sweeper started
    2011-08-22 14:37:48 CEST [ISS.0025.0025I] Broker Synchronizer initialized
    2011-08-22 14:37:48 CEST [ISS.0014.0002C] Initialization completed in 1033 seconds.
2011-08-22 14:37:49 CEST [ISS.0025.0056I] Reading system level information

this are nearly 10 minutes delay, what happens exactly between this two steps and what could be the solution to accelerate this?

    we are using IS 7.1.3

    thank you and regards

    Kim

Does the IS clustering? You may increase the IS log to trace to determine the issue.

Hello, thank you for the feedback!
The IS is not clustered, the next time I will increase the log level to have more information.

Enable logging would be a good idea, and parallely please do raise a SR with Empower and have PS look at the same, as normally this is about a seconds delay max 5 seconds between the two steps. Additionally please check if any of your services are caching the results to the IS.
