Thank you very much Pam for your reply and the information you provided. I really appreciate it. I will try to run the report for longer date range and see.
We have about 83K active items and last year we went through an Item Master Cleanup project where all the old items were obsoleted / pendobs and new items were created. The Vendor who helped with the project had modified this report to choose only Active items for ABC analysis since we had noticed performance issues with it.
I am thinking of requesting IBM to make ABC Analysis a Cron task instead of a report, who knows may be such a request is already out there.
Thanks once again.

Hi. Wanted to forward information from the Maximo 76 Report booklet which contains additional information on this report.
If you download the zip, and navigate to the 'Max76 Report Listing...' spreadsheet - on the 'Additional Report Descriptions' worksheet it states:
"Please note the additional filters and information on this report
........
(2) All items in the selected storeroom/site are included in the report - even if they do not have transactions during the time period. In these cases their transaction quantity and costs will be 0.
- This could cause some A or B items (which have no transaction costs) to be re-classified as C items. Therefore, the user must take care when selecting time periods to run this report.
- Therefore, the user must take care when selecting time periods to run this report. Longer time periods are recommended to minimize this potential issue."
Not sure if this helps your issue or not - but you may want to try increasing your time period for the run - instead of decreasing it.
Thank you.
