Hi Eduardo, Here is the info on InSync.

            Accelerator V7.5 requirements:

    • Db2 12 for z/OS with APAR PH06628 PTF UI63356 installed
    • In order to activate the new function, Db2 needs to be recycled
    • Db2 running in function level V12R1M500
    • Db2 12 for z/OS APAR PH19181 when available
      • Fixes a problem when Db2 is highly loaded
     Thanks,

    Dave Trotter

    Hello Eduardo,
if you plan to use Insync there are a few other things you need to consider.
David has given you a great input Db2 side.
But to use InSync function you also need to configure Pagent (or set it up if you are not using it yet in your shop).
You have to define a DB2 UserID for replication. IBM suggests to use passticket. If, like in our case, you do not use it and have a password that expires, to change it you have to disable and enable Integrated Synchronization (IBM is working to improve this aspect).
Certificate need to be in FORMAT(CERTDER) for IDAA. If it's not in the correct format, it can be converted on any system that does have openssl. Assuming it is in Base64 encoding, the command would be: openssl x509 -outform der -in YOURCERT.cer -out YOURCERT.crt . (IBM is also working to improve this aspect).
I hope to have given you some useful information.
    Regards Chiara
