Installing two versions of zD&T parallely

  • 1.  Installing two versions of zD&T parallely

    Posted Fri August 02, 2019 02:11 AM

    Hello,

We are currently using zD&T v10 on an RHEL. We would like to move to v12 but without disturbing the current setup. Is it possible to install two versions of zD&T in parallel? We do not intend to run both of them at the same time. Also, will the v12 be compatible with the old license server or will upgrading the license server break the v10?

    Regards,

    Deepak

To my knowledge it is not possible to run two versions of zpdt (the actual emulator) on the same instance. zpdt would be overwritten on the target instance.

License Server should still work (should you decide to install zpdt on a new server).

P.S.: Did you plan to leverage ZD&T Tools (EE) To provision?
