    Also, my shells and vi interface become inoperative upon logging into the sudosh shell. Have any of you experienced this with the sudosh shell, and if so, are there any workarounds?

    Were you able to fix the issue you experinced with sudosh ? I am having the same exact issue you had (when using sudosh in AIX) and wondering what was done to fix. I tried compiling the source code and while running make, it ends up in 100s of failures (whcih seem to be impossible resolving all those dependency failures, undefined variable etc etc)
