Upgrading PAX from 2.0.41 to 2.0.50 is giving us problems.
The installation program runs fine and the "IBM Framwork for Office" add-in becomes available under COM add-ins, but selecting it does not result in the Planning Analytics being added to the toolbar.
This seems to be limited to machines with previous installation of PAX. Machines without prior installation of PAX work fine.

Has anyone had this problem or know how to solve it?

Our recommendation to the users, in our company, is to first uninstall any previous installations and then install the new version. So before you start editing registry files, as suggested by Herman, I'd rather try my suggestion first.

Thanks. We tried the uninstall and install again without luck.
Ended up changing the registry and then it worked.
