    If the Extended Edition - DataStage TX Extended Edition for Sun/Solaris 7.5.1B(7.5.1r1) installs OK, you don't need anything further for the Event Server on your Sun box.

    You would need to install the Design Studio on Windows to create and deploy maps for the Sun box.

    Do not install the Management Tools on the Sun box after the EE is installed, it will break it. The EE install contains the Management Tools. The separate Management Tools install is to be used if you want to Manager this EE from another Sun server.
