This error message is generated when there is a configuration issue or you try to do a Software install on an AWS VM. I've seen this both on AWS and Google Cloud where you get a generic "upgrades are not supported" error message if a Software install is selected or the wrong marketplace image is used. I would try your reinstall again with the following steps: Configuring a QRadar virtual appliance on Amazon Web Services
Try the installation again with the provided documentation. If you have follow-up questions or are unsure of the documented steps, let us know in this thread.
Note: After you complete the install, you can use the standard QRadar SFS from IBM Fix Central to update the software from the AMI 7.5.0 UP4 -> 7.5.0 UP7. The AMI image on Amazon is only used to do the new install, then you can upgrade to the latest version with the QRadar SFS file.
