Hello, 

I am trying to create an inspection with an identified number of answers record. In a paper format, the form consists of a table that can be filled depending on the inspection outcome. 

Table Format
Item #  |  Description | Location | Status | Require Actions


While doing the inspection the person should record all the exceptions or problem found. it can be none, 1 or multiple. What is the best way to create this.

First are you using the Inspection Forms tool in the new Work Center?  Secondly what do you want to do with the data once you have it recorded?  IN other words what kind of action do you want to institute now that you have these new artifacts recorded?  Do you want to record defects? If so do you just want to make a record of those defect? or do you want to start a remediation effort? Or do you want something simpler like you just want to record a new set of work orders pursuant to the inspection actions?  I can see a table domain using WORKORDER.CLASS and perhaps additional domains used to create the results of the inspection in this use case scenario.  I have not played with the Inspection Forms editor,  however from a design perspective if the tool allows that it might be one way to go.

Hi Zenia,

I don't think what you are asking for is possible in the current version of Inspection Forms.  You need to specify the number of questions / prompts, and that's all that can be answered.  I believe there is a request to add the ability to have a recurring number of questions / prompts so that 1 or multiple entries can be recorded.

You can allow up to a certain number of repetitive questions / prompts by using some conditional logic, eg any more issues?, if so display the next set of questions / prompts.  Do this up to say 10 times.  It is a tedious process to set this up in Inspection Forms.
