Hi,

When I am aggregating AVG or Percent in a table on cognos Dashboard getting total of AVG/Percent or N/A in summary of the table or cross tab. Could some one help me to get correct summary values.

I have some questions to better understand the context of what you're encountering:

• Do you see the summaries show as N/A when using other 'Summarize' options on the column in the table? (open the three-dot slot menu in the fields > change summarize)
• Is the column you're looking to see a total for a calculation created in Cognos (ie. in Framework Manager, a Data module etc)? 
• Do you encounter this same challenge when using a Crosstab visualization type?

Thanks for the response. 

While working on Cognos Dashboard using Crosstab/List we are facing issue summary level % (Calculated on Dashboard) Values not showing. We are getting value N/A.We are now on R7.


Here calculation for '%New Column' is Quantity/Revenue.


I have change the summarize option but still facing same issue.

Dear,

Please make sure that this calculated field Summary is Fact Type. and then Changed to Auto Calculated. Hope it will work.

Also check the Aggregate Type Function from properties. and Change this Aggregate to Summarize
