I'm planning to migrate out of an SVC and replace with an FS9500, would like to confirm if the following scenario is possible since we don't have a test environment.  Perform Image mode Export migrations from a legacy SVC (8.3.x) to a new unused FS9500  (8.5.x) running in replication system layer.

For export to image mode from SVC, I think FS9500 needs to be in "storage" layer.

If FS9500 needs to stay in "replication" mode, you could try to create partnership between SVC and FS9500 and then via metro/global mirror replicate from SVC to FS9500
