Hi all, I am glad to be joining IBM soon. And I wanted to ask you if it's normal that I only received the laptop. No mouse/keyboard/external monitor. Not even a bag to transport it. They usually gave me these things in my previous companies. Same for company t-shirts, coffee/water bottles, etc. Something like a USB adapter hub (the Macbook only has USB-C) would be also something I would expect. Do you think they will send this to me later or is it normal that I only received the laptop? Thank you!

That's very normal to get the laptop and charger.

If you require peripheral devices as part of your work you can always discuss with your manager and if its critical for your job role you will get it.

For the promotional stuff, haven't seen that in my time at IBM :)
