Just checking, does anyone is having any idea about the IBM hardware documentation. I was using the publib.boulder site to get the IBM pSeries hardware guide for all p4, p5 and p6 system. But now a days I am getting error while opening the hardware service guide like this "The document that you have requested is not available. The link may be wrong, or you may not have the corresponding product feature installed". Is there any new place where I should look for or something happened with website. It's not working at all.

I usually go to this website..

    http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/p/support/

Under "Technical documentation" .. I select "Hardware documentation for System p and eServer p5 servers".

    It's taking me over here .... "http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/eserver/"

Then I am going to "IBM Systems Hardware Information Center". It's taking me here.

On the Left Hand side I am selecting "System p information"

Then "IBM System p (IBM System p5, IBM eServer p5, pSeries, and RS/6000) systems"

Then from Here I am selecting any of the series like p4, p5 and p6. Here I am selecting p4 IBM eServer pSeries 690.

After I select i can get into this page where on the right hand side it's giving me the option for the service guide " Service Guide SA38-0589 PDF (27.6MB)".

As soon as I click on service guide I am getting this error "The document that you have requested is not available. The link may be wrong, or you may not have the corresponding product feature installed."

I am looking for this information. My question is whether IBM moved all these service guide to some other place or the server is down or do I need to have something installed in my system to see this documents or something else. If you can help me out for this that will be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

You should be able to access the Service Guide for the pSeries 690 here: http://aix2.caspur.it/ibm/power4_doc/P670-690/sa380589.pdf

This is a link to the IBM eServer pSeries 670 and pSeries 690 System Handbook: http://aix2.caspur.it/ibm/power4_doc/P670-690/sa380589.pdf

For the p5 system on this TAB "Solving a problem" there is a link "Service provider service, support, and troubleshooting information" where we usually get all the Hardware Part no and the other information earlier. Now If I click on this link it's giving me ....

    Service provider information

This topic is intended to provide IBM® service providers with complete instructions for diagnosing and repairing problems on IBM eServer™ hardware.

Before using this information and the products it supports, be sure to read Safety notices.

It's not allowing me to get into the hardware list. There is a PDF file with the safety note. But it's not opening. If you can look into this that would be great for us. Thanks in advance for all your help.
