    Hello guys, I am a new member here and in reddit in general.

    recently I heard about news that IBM will split into NewCo and IBM and while NewCo seeks to continue the tech consulting and systems path, IBM will venture into cloud computing.

    I understand that both the companies after the split have very high growth potential and NewCo will be a big market frenzy, how do you guys think IBM stock price will be affected by the split at the beginning? Do you guys think it is going to drop?
