Do you know something about the licensing approach with the product IBM Rational Software Architect Designer ?..

I mean, this is because I don't see the file *.upd related with the floating licensing approach and the new license server key must be uploaded into the JTS license server ?

If we are talking about floating licenses, then you have to configure Floating License Server in JTS to be able to use RSA Designer license. See this document for more details:

The JTS server has been configured to manage the license floating.

But my question is how can connect the RSA Designer (client ) with the
license server inside of the clm?

Because the server are not flexlm server are usually used by the license
server.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question.

Well, in that case the only way is to use the Token licenses, since RSA Designer cannot communicate with Jazz floating license server.

According to the documentation, RSA Designer licenses can be activated in two ways:

• Importing a license activation kit
• Activating Rational® Common Licensing to obtain access to floating license keys
