    Hi All,

    Could you please let me know if Maximo Scheduler Optimization 7.6.8 is available for download. We already have licence for ILOG and we are using with Maximo Scheduler 7.6.7.1.

    We are planning to upgrade our existing Maximo scheduler version to 7.6.8 from 7.6.7.1 which will eventually give access to Maximo scheduler plus also.

    Could you please validate if we can access below software from passport advantage in case if we already have licence for existing ILOG.

    Below are some of our questions:

    a. Do we still have an option to install or upgrade our existing ILOG software to new ILOG(CPLEX) ? Do we still have option for Cloud or On-Premise with new optimization software ? Do we need new licence or can we reuse existing licence with new optimization software ?

    b. In Maximo 7.6.1.2, Ear includes optimization.ear files which includes ODME also. What are the steps we need to configure in order to access ODME console ? What are the new changes which we need to perform from configuration point in order to upgrade or install of ILOG(CPLEX) ? Could you please point any support note or installation guide for this.

    Hi Vinay,

    (a) Using optimization from version 7.6.8 onwards needs a separate entitlement for Maximo Scheduler Optimization (which includes Maximo Optimization Framework, Java optimization models and embeds ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio). If you know your IBM sales rep, please contact them and they can work with offering management to address your specific situation. Or you could send a private reply with your organization's details and we will work with the relevant IBM sales rep to reach out and address detailed questions.

    (b) Files you are seeing are originally from Maximo EAM 7.6.1.1. Those files are for consistency and support of ODME for clients who continue to be on Maximo EAM 7.6.1.1 and provide connectivity to ILOG ODME, DOcloud and include OPL models. In Maximo EAM 7.6.1.2, we don't support connectivity to ILOG ODME or DOcloud. Java models are available as part of Maximo Scheduler Optimization.
