This should not result in over consumption of app points, however. The MAS session (not the Manage session) is responsible for consumption of app points. And even when using concurrent licensing, the concurrent sessions of a single user are counted as one. Meaning you can login to Maximo Mobile, Firefox, Chrome, etc. simultaneously and still only consume 1 set of app points even though you would have a session for each of those logins.

I would like to know if anyone has come across the issue of Duplicate sessions being recorded in the Maxsession table.
We are currently noticing a high duplication of sessions being logged in the maxsession table when a user accesses Manage application, the duplication count for a user could be anywhere between 2 and 70 sessions. The users are logging in using SAML.
I believe this is also causing overuse of AppPoints , I could be wrong.
I would appreciate any feedback if anyone has faced similar issues.
