  • 1.  ibm i V7R3 needs to use DDM to access files on remote system running V6R1

    Hello,
    We should upgrade our system that runs IBMi V7R1 to V7R3, it actually uses DDM to access to remote files on a box that is on V6R1.
    Is it possible that V7R3 system access remotely by DDM to files residing on V6R1 ?
    Are there any compatibility issues ?

    What was the result here? Did you end up upgrading? I wouldn't think there would be any compatibility issues but I don't have a V6R1 system to test against. If it was working with 7.1 I believe it will continue working with V6R1.
