Hi,
my name is Diego Kesselman, I'm General Manager of ESSELWARE Soluciones, IBM BPs in Mexico.
Last year I was part of the team that wrote the RedBook "IBM Power Systems Virtual Server Guide for IBM i"
I've alse create some articles about PowerVS, IBM i and backing up to the cloud or to NFS. You can check some of the project (repositories) on GitHub:

In my opinion, On-Prem to cloud migration for IBM i is a complex task, because you need special and temporal resources for the migration: disk space, software, hardware, professional services, synchronization window ...
Once your workloads are running on the cloud you need to take backups, and you need other resources:
* IBM Cloud Storage Solutions for i or any other software
* ISCSI VTL
* Object Storage buckets
* Local disk space (when using ICC)
My question is:
How was your experience with migration and setting up backups when moving your workloads to PowerVS?
