  • 1.  (IBM i) CPCP session not established

    Hello, Community:

    First of all, this is for EE connection between zOS and AS400.   Please advise me if I posted in the wrong place and which community is good for it.

    The problem is that the EE connection seems to be successful, but  I don't see CPCP session established.

    I perform a EEDIAG test from z to i but it failed for all ports 12000-12004.   Some support page in IBM said IBM i does not support it and some suggest it for PD.

    Any hint for further PD?   Thanks.

    Hello Victor, 

         The Communications Server for Data Center Deployment is not the community for this. I searched and found there are "AS400" and "IBMi" communities that may be better places. The AS/400 does support Enterprise Extender connections, but I am not familiar with it enough to know how firewalls are handled.
