IBM documentation for Next Gen Rest API

  • 1.  IBM documentation for Next Gen Rest API

    Hi Experts and IBM team,

    Maximo next Gen Rest API is awesome and myself( and I believe many others) would learn and use it by IBM documentation only.
    But the Next Gen Rest API documentation is now removed by IBM.
    What could be reason for this?
    How do I get access to the same documentation?

    The entire developer section for asset management (was developer.ibm.com/assetmanagement) was deleted a few weeks ago. I didn't realize that my PC was still serving a cached version of the page since it's a simple HTML page but see the same thing when I use InPrivate browsing. I've saved what it was and uploaded it as a zip (it's a HTML document plus a CSS file). 

    As for why all the developer documentation was killed I can't answer. I assumed it was being moved and waited for a notification. I'll reach out to some of my IBM contacts and see if I can learn anything.

    I hope you're successful, Steven!  It's quite an inconvenience to have the documentation, provided online only, to disappear without any ability to locate it again.  Yes I'm being restrained in my language and opinion this morning ...

    Perhaps all of us with Support accounts, should start filing Severity 1 Cases ...

    Yeah, it is pretty crazy. Many times you find links to supporting documentation they are no longer valid because IBM moves all their docs like every 6 months and they don't think to preserve this. I reached out to my AVP rep this week when the Java docs went down. No word on the status of it yet.

    Now that's useful ... hopefully the rest of the links can find their way to that community page.  I do miss the HTML just a bit, but this is WAY better than nothing at all.  Thanks Tom!

    Any idea if the Maximo 7.6.1.x API JavaDocs will show up or if the Maximo 7.6.0.9 API JavaDocs will come back?
