    System Model: IBM,9133-55A

    AIX Level: 5200-10-04-0750
    System Model: IBM,9133-55A
    Machine Serial Number: 067232H

    AIX Level: 5200-08-CSP
    System Model: IBM,7038-6M2

    AIX Level: 5200-10-04-0750
    System Model: IBM,7026-M80
    Following running at 5.3:

    AIX Level: 5300-06-04-0748
    System Model: IBM,7047-185

    2) Can I go from 5.3.6 right to 5.3.9 SP2? Note: CD for test_server to 5.3.9 SP2 ordered online 1/6/09.

    3) For the 2 servers running via a HMC (the 0133-55As), does the OS upgrade have to be done via HMC or can it be upgraded straight from CD like on the M80, 6M2 and 7047 running with no HMC?

    2) Yes. again, make sure firmware is current

    3) You don't need an HMC to upgrade a server. Use a CD or an NFS-mounted install image or a NIM server to do the updates.
