Greetings.
How do I interprete the SPSS Ridge Regression Output.
I notice that the Ridge Regression Output basically has three sections: Case Processing Summary, Model Summary, and Ridge Regression Coefficients. The outputs look quite different from those of the Ordinary Least Squares. I thought they were going to be reported the same way. For example, I can't see R-Square, F-Statistics, p-value, Durbin Watson, etc. I can't also see the p-values of the Independent Variables. I AM VERY CONFUSED AS TO WHAT TO DO.
What do I do?
Shalom.

If you have version 29, you can find Ridge as Analyze > Regression > Linear OLS Alternatives > Ridge. I think it is a base procedure.
You can also do Ridge with CATREG (categorical regression), but that is in an optional module.
If none of that works, go to Extensions > Extension Hub and search for Ridge. There is an extension command for ridge regression.

I have installed the IBM SPSS Statistics for Students; the Trial Version. My intention is to use it to run "Ridge Regression". Unfortunately, it is not giving me the functionality for doing that. I have examined the software and discovered that if does not have "Add-on", and I am thinking that may be the problem. How do I overcome this challenge?
I am, Bereh from Jos Nigeria.
