  • 1.  How will you use SSR?

    Earlier this week  @Emily Farthing, @Samantha Wong and around 50 of our friends here in the Apptio Community met to talk about Self Service Reporting. You can access the 30 min recording and any resources we discussed here. ​

    It's great to learn about the features of SSR from your Apptio team but it's even better to learn about the application of these features from fellow members of the Apptio Community. The real magic is in your practical examples and use cases, so let's hear them! πŸ˜€

    • How are you currently using self-service reporting?
    • If you're not using it yet, can you think of ways you or especially users outside of your TBMO, could use SSR? 
    • Do you have any questions about the functionality before you start adopting SSR?
    We want to hear it all in the comments below and will add this ribbon to the profile of anyone with ideas or real-world examples.

    We definitely want to start using SSR.
    I think the custom data enhancements in the latest versions are something we need to do what we want.
    I think our issue is that we aren't able to upgrade to latest versions of Apptio until months later.

    Yup, I think I badger our CSM for the upgrades when we see some new enhancements come through πŸ˜‚
    Hoping the current changes in Apptio for APEX and Infrastructure move to AWS helps the process become more smooth. 

    It's nice to see the upcoming product enhancements but when you need an upgrade, we aren't able to get those in a more timely manner.

    Yes I completely understand and I do know our engineering team is working to streamline the process as well as the communications that are shared with upgrade. On my side, we'll continue to ensure the latest upgrade information is available on Community. On your side, thank you for engaging and especially for the badgering! πŸ˜€
