Yeah , does seem to have to pay to use the good feature. Glad I'm not the only one who hit this. .
Discovery is only 500pm but still a lot to look at a handful of documents.
I did find a workaround . Need to set up a BOX agent and then use webhooks on local PC to retrieving process documents. It's slow but it works as POC.

Subject: How to work with Documents with Watsonx Assistant on the free plan?
Hi Roy,
I recently looked into this myself and unfortunately didn't find any free solutions available. Locally, I was advised by IBM colleagues to explore Discovery or Milvus on watsonx.data, or Databases for Elasticsearch. However, these options start at a minimum of USD 1,500, which seems too expensive for an MVP.

Subject: How to work with Documents with Watsonx Assistant on the free plan?
Hi All,
I am trying to create a tea bots that can read some of our documents and give insight. On-call, SLAs, runbooks.... I am new to Assistant and struggling to see how i can add documents to work with unless i buy Discovery? I can link to BOX but need webhooks and a middle server to do the processing.
Am i missing something.
Is there a free way to have a batch of documents that are live , that can be read by Assistant in real time?
Many Thanks
Roy
