Greetings

I have created a BPM Task in BAW Case Solution and in the Work Details Page I am starting the discretionary task using the code described in the below link upon the click of button

How do I programmatically start a discretionary task from a toolbar button?

This task has Coach View associated with it. The task is getting created but I would like to open the new created task(coach view of task) as soon as it is created.

Please suggest how this can be done

Hi Lakshya,

did you configure the "Launch UI" client side human service (CSHS) for your discretionary task?
If  so, this UI should immediately open when you add the discretionary task to your case.
For testing purposes, you can also use the standard menu option (add task) and try to add your discretionary task this way. In case it has no launch UI configured, the task will  start and advance to  the first workflow activity (which will then be accessible from the inbasket). In case you have a launch UI configured, this UI will open when you add the task to your case and you can for example add information there. This will also work when you add the new task via the JS API, as described in the link you posted.
