    I'm running IBM HTTP Server v8.5.5.7 on solaris 10 server..

    Receiving the following message when trying to startup IHS...

    125)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 172.22.140.32:6143

    no listening sockets available, shutting down

    Unable to open logs

    + ERROR=1

    + exit 1

    I couldn't see what process is using port 6143. I have 2 listen directives in my httpd.conf file but for different ports.

    Much help is appreciated resolving this issue....

    Either another process listens on port 6143 or there are duplicate Listen directives for this port in the IHS configuration.
