    Hi,

    I received a message via another Maximo channel that the user was able to save a Job Plan with a negative duration time. Since this feature is already for decades (as of Maximo 4) and "Out of the Box" enabled, long before Service Provider came available, just a minor configuration "trick" to avoid the recording of negative duration values.

    Just go the the database configurator, open the JOBPLAN mbo and select the jpduration attribute. In the details enable the checkbox (boolean) "Positive". This will avoid to enter negative values.

    After saving and updating the change, it is not possible to enter negative values:

    By the way, this feature is possible for all integer, duration and amount data type attributes in any mbo.
