  • 1.  How long will PAW 2.0.x continue to support Performance Modeler?

    Posted Mon April 14, 2025 09:57 AM

    Hi all,

I'm still running one model originally built with Performance Modeler, though we mostly maintain it now through Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).

I know PM is deprecated and not available in PAW 2.1+, but we're still on PAW 2.0.x for compatibility.

    My questions:

    • How long will IBM keep releasing PAW 2.0.x updates?

    • Is there a known final version of PAW 2.0.x that supports PM?

    • Anyone else in the same situation - partially transitioned but still dependent on older models?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

We were told that remote desktop access will be removed - thereby PM access will go away by default. So, we are moving to PAW and Books.

    Hi Asgeir,

IBM is currently releasing 2.0.x and 2.1.x in parallel, and the expectation is that they will continue to carry on in this way up to October after which releases on 2.0.x will be stopped. You will be able to install the latest 2.0.x version available, and have the option to purchase extended support from IBM.

Have you investigated building out your own applications, workflows, and KPIs in PAW?
