IBM BPM has been architected for backward compatibility with both WebSphere Process Server (WPS) and WebSphere Lombardi Edition (WLE) applications.

IBM BPM provides tools for migrating process applications as well as in-flight process instances from WPS releases 6.1, 6.1.2, 6.2, and 7.0.  Migration from releases earlier than WPS 6.1 can also be accomplished, with some extra steps.

IBM BPM provides tools for migrating process applications as well as in-flight process instances from Lombardi Teamworks releases 6.1, 6.2, 7.0 & WLE releases 7.01 & 7.2.  Migration from releases earlier than Lombardi Teamworks 6.1 can also be accomplished, with some extra steps.
