    Hi everyone,
    I'm using Cognos Analytics on Cloud – Standard version and i am new to it. Our license includes 8 Standard users and 2 Premium users.

    I've created a dashboard that I'd like to share internally with my broader team (~40 users). However, most of them don't have Cognos accounts. When I share the dashboard URL, they get an authentication error.

    My questions are:

    Is there any way to share dashboards via URL to internal users without requiring Cognos login?

    Are there any supported workarounds, such as exporting or embedding dashboards to interact with the dashboard?

    I'm looking for a solution that doesn't require buying 40+ additional licenses .

    I only started with Cognos this year but at my formal training week they told us that HTML reports & dashboards can only be shared to other licensed consumers. So my company is distributing our 100 licenses carefully to really ensure those who need the HTML capabilities with dashboards and prompting truly need them. Otherwise for our 100s of other managers, we are scheduling and designing excel exported reports that send to different distribution lists according to everyone's needs. I'm sorry I hope you can figure something out with either getting more licenses or how to forgo the interactivity of the dashboards to switch to excel only reports.

    Hi Stephanie,

    Thanks for your reply - I appreciate the context and fully understand the licensing constraints.

    That said, I'm still hoping to find a practical solution within our current license setup. Specifically, I'm looking for options to share or embed a dashboard with internal users who don't have Cognos accounts

     But any workaround that lets us share insights visually (even in a limited way) without expanding our license count would be extremely helpful.

    Thanks again, and I'd really appreciate any further ideas or examples from those who've tried similar things.
