Issue with Group Inclusion in SPSS MANOVA
I am encountering an issue where only one group (PSR group) is being included in my MANOVA analysis in SPSS. That means through questionnaires I have gained 110 participants. Group 1 = 30, Group 2 = 40, Group 3 = 40) Here is a detailed summary of the problem and the steps I have taken:
1. Group Variable Definition
- I have a variable called `Group` that is supposed to categorize participants into three groups: PSR group (1), SB group (2), and Control group (3).
- In the Variable View, the `Group` variable is defined as numeric with the following values:
- 1 = PSR group
- 2 = SB group
- 3 = Control group
- The measurement level is set to nominal.
2. Filter and Data Selection:
- I have ensured that no filters are active. Under `Data` -> `Select Cases`, I have selected "All cases" to include all participants in the analysis.
3. MANOVA Setup:
- In `Analyze` -> `General Linear Model` -> `Multivariate`, I have selected the dependent variables (`Loneliness_Diff`, `NegativeMood_Diff`, `SelfEsteem_Diff`) and moved `Group` to the fixed factors field.
- I have also added covariates like `NTB_Scale` and `PSR_Intensity`.
Despite these steps, the output only includes data for the PSR group and excludes the other two groups.
Request:
I need guidance on ensuring that all groups are included in the MANOVA analysis. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
