    For Sendmail, is it for HA of your mail server ? You can have sendmail running and configured on both nodes and set difference preferences in your DNS server for the MX records in your domain. No need for PowerHA.

    For SAMBA, you can synchronize the SMB password files via a file collection, failover the filesystem your are sharing and start the daemons with an application server.
