    I’m new to webMethods, I can create groups in webMethods console or MyWebMethods but don’t know how to assign/modify group properties. Can someone give me a hint.

    what is “webMethods console” ?

    Groups is just a way to “organize” people, while roles/ACL’s is the way to give functional or access privileges.

    MWS has its users, and IS it’s own users. If you need to share users between them you need to configure CentralUsers.

    I would suggest you to look at documentation and clarify concepts first.
