I'm curious to see if any region has had success in the past two years with new 'whitespace' customers on IBM Power? What solutions/services created these new opportunities?

What we are seeing in ANZ is a complete absence of ISVs that openly promote IBM Power as a recommended platform for their solutions. Is this a global trend, or unique to our area?

Most I have been involved with in some shape form or another were just existing clients upgrading to the latest POWER9 / POWER10.

Actively saying that X runs better on IBM Power here in South Africa? not much faff with all the cloud sauce being sprinkled with most sales conversations. 

"Hopefully" fingers crossed, with the AI hot sauce being thrown in most companies' dishes, with POWER 10 being able to do somewhat good ML and AI inferencing coupled together with some data privacy, that could turn the tide on POWER 10 sales in the future.  Depends also for IBM i clients who dont want their data to leave the box if they want to get a piece of that action.

Time will tell.
