My team is looking into generating QR Codes onto Maximo BIRT Reports. We found this older forum post below and wanted to confirm if using ZXING is still the recommended way to do it:

Hi Thomas, 

Please find the steps to generate QR code using ZXing jars in Maximo 7.6.x BIRT report. 

Maximo Works: Maximo 7.6.x Barcode Generation in BIRT reports

It requires zxing jars to be deployed into Maximo 7.6.x EAR and revision of this report design is required during MAS upgrade.
