IBM BAMOE 9.3.1 also addresses critical enterprise needs around platform support, process migration, and global accessibility.

- Developing Business Services for Z platform
In BAMOE 9.3.1, you can now deploy BAMOE components on IBM Z platforms and build container images to be run on IBM Z platforms running OpenShift on zLinux (s390x). This enables enterprises to leverage the scalability, security, and performance of IBM Z for mission-critical automation and opened more IBM existing market to BAMOE.
- Modernized technology stack:Support PostgreSQL 18.0 in addition to versions 16 and 17, ensuring compatibility with the latest database advancements.- AI integration - BAMOE MCP Server security and hardening (Tech Preview)o This feature enables BAMOE to integrate with Agentic AI frameworks by exposing Business Service APIs as reusable Tools through a new MCP Server component.o It allows customers to build intelligent agents powered by BAMOE's decisioning and process automation capabilities. This positions BAMOE as a key enabler of goal-driven automation in multi-agent ecosystems.- AI integration - AI Agent Task for BPMN (Tech Preview)o BAMOE now introduces the AI Agent Task in the BPMN Editor, powered by seamless integration with Langflow. This feature is available in both BAMOE Canvas and BAMOE Developer Tools for VS Code.o With this enhancement, users can easily select AI flows or agents from their Langflow instance and test executions using user inputs. This enables smarter and more dynamic process automation.- New Add-on and Tools to migrate in-flight Process Instanceso The new Process Instance Migration (PIM) Add-on integrated with IBM BAMOE Management Console enables clients to plan and manage the migration of in-flight process instances to new process definitions. When process instances are running for days, weeks, or months with waiting states like timers or user tasks, the user can now migrate them to updated process definitions without losing data or disrupting operations.o The performance of the tool is ~100x faster for Spring Boot in v9 when compared with v8!- Comprehensive internationalization supporto BAMOE now supports user interfaces and messages in multiple languages in addition to English, offering nine (9) baseline non-English languages. The following language translations have been internally reviewed by our Support and Engineering teams at no additional cost, ensuring cultural, regional, and contextual accuracy that goes well beyond standard machine translation.

- Enhanced Process Modeling Capabilitieso The ability to use sub-processes from a different project, previously supported in IBM BAMOE 8.0.x, is now available in version 9.3.1, with clear and standardized implementation guidance. - User Task Lifecycle Optionso BAMOE 9.3.1 provides a User Task life cycle that adheres to the WS-HumanTask standard. This lifecycle enables more precise management of user task behavior and state transitions, giving greater control over how user tasks are handled.
- DMN Editor: Unified Documentationo BAMOE Canvas now includes a DMN document generation feature that supports multiple DRDs and provides a rich documentation workflow for managing Decision artifacts. With this enhancement, the 9.3.1 DMN Editor achieves feature parity with the DMN Editor from BAMOE 8.0.x.
