  • 1.  FS7300 PBHA update Storage Virtualize

    Hello!
    I have two FS7300 with configured PBHA with version 8.7.0.0
    I want update both of it to version 8.7.2.1
    Please tell me how I can do it?
    I'll just update first FS and than update second FS.
    Or require additional actions?

    If I understood it right then I must update my system to 8.7.0.2 and after this to 8.7.2.1, right?

    you are assuming correctly.

    Citing the relevant footnote from the linked support document to add some context for other readers:

    ** Systems using policy-based high availability on 8.7.0.0 must update to 8.7.0.1, or later 8.7.0.x PTF, before updating to 8.7.1.0 or later.

    Generally, the design is to upgrade the systems independently as you have described.  However, you should pay attention to the Upgrade compatibility matrix (in your next post) as well as the IBM Storage Virtualize Policy-based Replication and High Availability Compatibility Cross Reference 

    If you are concerned or need more assistance, most support contracts do allow you to open a pre-emptive "I'm going to be upgrading" support ticket.  I hope this helps!
