Frequency table for Matrix Type Questions

    I need to get the frequency for matrix type question. 

    Please indicate your level of agreement with the following statements about your orientation experience. 

    a. I felt welcomed when I arrived on campus.              Strongly disagree, disagree, neither agree nor disagree, agree, strongly agree.

    b. I felt represented and included in the orientation.    Strongly disagree, disagree, neither agree nor disagree, agree, strongly agree

    I would like to know how many participants answered this question. When I run the frequency for each of the options "a" and "b" separately, I get the frequency for each option. However, that is not the frequency for how many people answered the question.

    Check out multiple response sets (Analyze > Tables > Multiple Response Sets).  Once defined, you can use ... Tables > Custom Tables for analysis.
