IBM Expired the Cognos 8/10 Metadata Models certification in 2018, and then expired the Cognos 10 cert in 2019. They have not yet replaced this, which is interesting because FM is not expected to change, so the v10 certification should be the current one, but I know they are moving all Cognos cert's to v11. Bottom line, as of right now, there is no COMPLETE certification for FM/Metadata Modeling, but as Morten mentions, the new badging process is at least one way to attain some verification, so I would recommend starting there.

I don't believe IBM does any training, and have pushed that out for partners to do.

You should call to confirm that it is updated for v11.x.
If not, a quick Google search should locate an updated class for you.
