  • 1.  Filenet: How to export a document class?

    Hi
    I have Filenet 5.5 here. 

    I was wondering how to export a document class. For example, if you have your document classes created in one Filenet server (Like billing document, procurement document, etc) and you only want to export the document classes (not the files or data) to a different server. How do you do that? Pointers to documentation are welcome.

    use FDM to move FileNet artifacts from one environment to another.

This environment-specific data includes the object store IDs and the access control lists for the objects. To import objects into a different environment, you must first update the environment-specific data in those objects.

    Hi

    It looks that this is the main thread of documentation that I need to follow:

    But the last step seem to short without any link or further information. 
    Step 9.-  "9. Import the converted deployment data set to the destination environment. ."

    Seem that something is missing on the documentation, just in the last step when you need to import the assets to the other server.
