Hi everyone,

we are facing an issue scheduling a dataset refresh - manual refresh runs fine. Once we setup a schedule we receive the following error:

XQE-MD-0007 Unable to establish a metadata connection to data souce <path to package>: XQE-JDB-0010 Connection to database with Single Sign On failed

Situation:
IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.13 Single Sign On (also tested with 11.1.7. FP2)
Data Source: SAP HANA with external namespace authentication (for data security)
Dataset based on DMR package and the SAP connection above.

I tried to renew credentials, however then I receive a popup window to enter my password.

Do have any idea how to resolve this? Btw, scheduling a report is working fine - we only face the issue with datasets.

Hi Timm, 

One thing I would check is the Owner of the dataset as well as the schedule. Is the issue occurring even when you take ownership of the dataset and create a schedule from your account, assuming you have access to the package the dataset is referring to?

Hi Kiran,

thanks for your reply and suggestions. I'm running the schedule as an admin, so I assume it is not a permission issue. One thing I will try is to create a new dataset from scratch and see if the error also occurs.
